I always love lures with a lot of action and decided to give the Egret Baits Vudu Mullet a try.
This is a segmented lure with a ton of action and movement in the tail. It looks good in the water and is very enticing to pickier fish.
I’ve definitely noticed some cons to this lure as well and have had to make some adjustments to it to get its best performance.

EGRET BAITS VUDU MULLET SPECS
The Vudu Mullet comes in three different sizes and four different weights.
Below are the specs for the Egret Baits Vudu Mullet sizes:
- 3.5″ – 1/4 oz
- 4.5″ – 1/2 oz
- 4.5″ Slow Sink – 1/4 oz
- 5.5″ – 1 oz
The smaller versions of the Vudu Mullet come with 17 different color combinations while the 5.5″ model has seven.
The lures are available on the Egret Baits website for $7.75 per lure.

In this video, I give you my full review for the Egret Baits Vudu Mullet and show you what the lure looks like underwater when you’re fishing it.
This is one of the best lures in terms of action. It looks great underwater and fish love the movement from the segmented tail.
I love that you can cast it far as well.
I’m not crazy about the hook and would suggest switching them out with an inline hook for better catch ratios.
